The Schools were founded in 1985 by Rao Sahib K.A.M.A.Kaliappa Nadar, a merchant banker and businessman from Tuticorin. His service to society knew no bounds and he even donated an ambulance to the World War I Relief. He contributed to the KAMAK YMCA, Madurai for the deaf and dumb and also developed KAMAK school in Krishnaperi.
