Shri Swami Samarth, also recognized as the Swami of Akkalkot, was a prominent spiritual guru of the Dattatreya Tradition in India.

His influence extended throughout multiple Indian states, most notably Maharashtra and Karnataka, and his disciples, referred to as Swami Bhakts, have propagated his teachings globally. Currently, there are numerous Swami Maths established in even the most remote regions of Maharashtra, serving as places of devotion and worship for the Swami's followers. Shri Swami Samarth lived during the nineteenth century.
