During tough economic times in 1983, I produced my first horse sale with my good friend Vic Clark in Columbus, Ohio. That initial sale was a great learning experience, and I got up to speed quickly on how to market horses at public auction. After moving to Texas, I began one of the first Ranch Horse Sales in Vernon. A few years later I re
