Muwatta Malik is a book of hadith and fiqh compiled by Imam Malik bin Anas, is one of the Kutubut Tis'ah (nine major hadith books in Sunni circles).
Imam Malik, Namely Abu Abdullah Malik bin Anas bin Malik bin Abu Amir Al-Ashbahi (93 H and -179 H). He lived a lot in Medina. He is a famous Islamic scholar, and founder of the Maliki school of thought. He is known to have more than a thousand students of whom the most famous is Imam Shafi'i. During his life, Imam Malik constantly renewed his Book of Muwaththa, so that this book reflected his learning and knowledge for more than forty years.
