About App
The Liturgy of The Hours Group began its translation work in the early 1970s. Howerver, due to the specific circumstances of the country, the translations of the Liturgy of the Hours and the Bible by the Group only became widely known from 1994 onwards, and were initially disseminated only print format until 2011, when they started to be available online. After a period of exploration, it was not until the end of 2016 that the website https://ktcgkpv.org and the KTCGKPV app were launched, containing all the translations of the Group in both the fields of the Bible and the Liturgy, with texts updated daily.
In the Bible section, there are not only the texts but also introductions and annotations of various types, including classic and pastoral categories. Since March 2020, the translations by the Group are not only readable but also audible, specifically the Gosple of Mark has been turned into a movie, while waiting for three other Gospels. The latest event on September 30, 2020, the feast day of St. Jerome, the patron saint of the Bible translators, making the 1600th heavenly birthday of the saint, the Translation Group released a new app called “The Word of God for Everyone”, enabling people to read the Bible directly or to search for words and phrases.
