Varamahalakshmi Vrata is a festival to propitiate the goddess Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu, one of the Hindu Trinity. Lakshmi or Varamahalakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity. It is believed that the Varalakshmi form of the goddess bestows boons and fulfills all desires of her devotees. Hence this form of the goddess is known as Vara + Lakshmi i.e. Goddess Lakshmi who bestows boons. It is believed that worshiping Goddess Varalakshmi on this day is equivalent to worsh
