The Syro Malabar Youth Movement (SMYM) is the official youth movement of the Syro Malabar Church. SMYM, formerly known as Yuvaddepthy -KCYM, was working in the Diocese of Kanjirapally since 1978. Diocese of Kanjirapally includes the civil districts of Idukki, Kottayam and Pathanamthitta. The SMYM is active in the 147 parishes of the diocese.
