A linear expression in x is an expression of the form ax+b where a and b are constants. In this tutorial, we look at how to solve linear equations, that is, equations involving linear expressions. We then look at graphs drawn on the Cartesian plane: points, x-intercepts, y-intercepts, and slopes. We finally look at applications of linear equations.
