About App

In this course, we will graphically understand basic concepts of Calculus. It is expected that students are learning calculus or they have preliminary knowledge of Calculus. The concepts of mathematics are abstract which makes it difficult to explain. The visualizations are important in Mathematics. There are needs of utilities and software which can easily be integrated into teaching and learning. Hundreds of software and utilities are available as Open Source, Licensed and Paid. However no specific software or utility is available to explain individual concepts from different branches of Mathematics for under graduate and post graduate students. The purpose of this course is to use open source and freeware utilities to graphically understand concepts of Calculus. These utilities are developed by me or available free from other sources.

Calculus is the study of rates of change. Calculus was developed in the latter half of the 17th century by two mathematicians, Leibniz and Newton.
It was Newton who first developed calculus and applied it directly to the understanding of physical systems. Independently, Leibniz developed the notations used in calculus.
