About App
Susanna Marino's Japanese Dictionary is a dictionary designed for those learning the Japanese language, for professionals, and for anyone who needs a practical consultation tool. The Japanese-Italian section of the work is ordered by transcription in Latin characters according to the Hepburn system. Each item contains the equivalent in Japanese characters and is complete with phraseology and forms derived from the headword. The Italian-Japanese section reports both the translation in Japanese characters and the transcription into Latin characters. This second edition has been completely revised and updated with new words and phrases of Japanese and Italian: words of computer science such as chakumero (メ ロ) and kuraudo (ラ ウ ド), colloquial forms, or linked to social phenomena such as bakugai (爆 買 い) , featorēdo (フ ェ ア ト レ ー ド), photoretags (フ ォ ト レ タ ッ チ), kūri bizu (ク ー ル ビ ズ). Furthermore, over 400 onomatopoeic forms have been included such as uji uji (ウ ジ ウ ジ) and doki doki (キ ド キ), a fundamental linguistic element especially in the spoken language and source of expressiveness of the Japanese language.
