IslayTouch is an educational visual programming environment for young children. It uses the concept of finite state machine to define the behavior of an interactively animated character, which allows users to compose their programs simply by drawing state diagrams with the combination of arrows and ovals.
Islay(/ˈaɪlə/) is a state diagram-based visual programming language firstly developed in Ibaraki University in 2005. Besides IslayTouch, it is also available as desktop applications and web services.
