The mobile app Oil palm crop doctor is an interactive app that disseminates information readily and from correct source to oil palm stakeholders. It enables the farmer / user to send queries to ICAR-IIOPR and receive the required information.
The app has four modules viz., (i) Pests, Diseases and Deficiencies (ii) Fertilizer Calculator (iii) Enquiry and (iv) Crop Videos. It also has a side menu which displays the options of Home, About Oil Palm Crop Doctor, Contact Us and Logout.
Installation of the mobile app Oil palm crop doctor starts with registration wherein the farmer / user registers on the login page, using his / her mobile number. On completing the registration the launching screen appears followed by the dashboard screen of the app which displays four options viz., pests, diseases and deficiencies; fertilizer calculator; enquiry and crop videos.
