The Arabic language (العَرَبِيَّة) is the largest living member of the Semitic language family. It is a Central Semitic language and is closely related to Hebrew and Aramaic. Modern Arabic is called a "macrolanguage"; Its 27 dialects are recognized in ISO 639-3. These dialects are prevalent throughout the Arab world and modern standard Arabic is read and written throughout the Islamic world. Modern Standard Arabic is derived from Classical Arabic. Arabic was the main carrier language of mathema
