Malay is known as Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Malaysia, or abbreviated as BM. It is the national language of Malaysia. It is very important in Malaysia and is used for daily communication. It is also the official language. However, the mother tongue of Malaysian Chinese is not Malay, but Chinese, so it is difficult for ordinary Chinese students to master this Malay language.
