Telangana government is committed to provide governance closer to the people. That is why the government is undertaking the "People's Governance" programme. Fulfilment of social security programmes, welfare schemes and six guarantees to the eligible/genuine beneficiaries in the state in a phased, time-bound manner. Better governance with accountability and transparency at the field level will be provided in line with public opinion, particularly the opinion of the poor and downtrodden sections.
