Al ’Asr (Arabic: العصر - Afternoon) is the one hundred and third Surah of the Qur'an. Meccan Sura. Consists of 3 verses.

This surah says that a person suffers losses in his deeds, except for believers who commit pious deeds, prompting each other to adhere to the truth, that is, all good things, prompting each other to patience, doing what they are commanded, and refraining from forbidden.
