Al-Qadr (Arabic: القدر - Predestination) is the ninety-seventh sura of the Qur'an. Meccan Sura. Consists of 5 verses. This Surah speaks of the dignity of the Qur'an and the night on which it was revealed, and indicates that it is better than a thousand months and that angels and Djibril descend that night at the behest of their Lord to fulfill his commands.
