Aura is an attempt to challenge popular stereotypes and media representations about the lives, dreams and hopes of women, especially those from marginalized communities. The magazine is being launched in a testing time, where multiple contexts of political repression, the pandemic, and continuous forms of societal injustice prevail. Our first issue takes up the question of leadership and success, and what this means to women. Leadership and success has been painted with a very superficial and i
