Verity is a free news app created by the Improve the News Foundation (ITN), an apolitical American non-profit. It aims to counter pressure from political forces and click-maximizing AI that have resulted in a news environment with bias, omissions, polarization, and "alternative facts". Verity’s aim is to empower people to discover the complete and nuanced truth behind every major news story. It does this by separating facts from narratives.
