The wallpaper of the Salvador Gil Vernet Collection of Urology Drawings contains a selection of drawings from the Salvador Gil Vernet Collection of Urology Drawings. This collection is composed of more tan 580 urology drawings illustrating gross anatomy of the male pelvis and perineum, urogenital pathology and surgical techniques in urology.
The collection includes watercolor, charcoal, pencil and ink drawings completed between 1940 and 1970, which have been restored and catalogued in the last two years. Some are originals published in his books Urogenital Pathology (1944-1955) and Morphology and Function of the Vesico-Prostato-Urethral Musculature (1968); others were presented at national and international conferences and in other scientific literature.
