The Farmer Business School App (FBSInnova App) is a crop and livestock farm management mobile application intended to assist smallholder farmers in Africa, who have been enrolled onto the Farmer Business School Training Program by GIZ, and also the general public who want to digitise their farming Activities. The FBSInnova App comes with a Cropping Calendar, Money in / Money Out record, farm registrations and a forum for group conversation.
It is developed in four different languages, thus, English, French, Portuguese and Arabic to enable wider access across the African continent.
Each of the eight (8) listed countries has its own package consisting of three (3) different farm products as according to the Farmer Business School Program. There are currently over twenty different crop and livestock products available namely; Cocoa, Cassava, Maize, Tomato, Cow Pea, Onions, Mango, Potato, Egusi, Groundnut, Rice, Poultry, Dairy, Pigeon Pea, Sesame, orange etc.
