About 1.50 lakh solar street lights have been installed in the state by Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency under various schemes of the Central/State Government. Uttar Pradesh Suryoday Mobile App has been developed by the Uttar Pradesh Government in collaboration with UPLC for the regular maintenance and quick repair by identifying non-functional lights.
