The village of Hrubá Borša borders on the south-eastern side with the villages of Jelka and Jánovce, which belong to the district of Galanta, while forming a district border between the Bratislava and Trnava regions. The village is the eastern gate of the Bratislava region. It borders on the north side with the village of Kráľova pri Senec and on the southwest side with the village Kostolná pri Dunaji. The village also borders the land cadastral area Hurbanova Ves.
