The Farnesina's Directorate General for Italians Abroad has set up an APP in collaboration with the Directorate General for Information Technology to expand knowledge of the services offered by consulates to Italian citizens abroad.
 
Main objective: to facilitate access to consular procedures, for example registration with the Italian Residents Registry Office, issue of passports, civil status documents, assistance in case of need etc.

Main characteristics:
- over 50 topics of general interest for Italians abroad, organized in three different categories (Traveling, Studying and Living)
- for each of the topics listed, detailed information on «things to do» in case of need (lost passport, health care etc.), which the user can organize in a personalized list.
- interactive navigation on a map of detailed information, for over 200 consular offices, with geolocation and identification of offices abroad.
- link to FAST-IT, the web portal of the Farnesina consular services.
- hundreds of useful links and references for Italians abroad concerning Work, Schools / Universities, Health Facilities, Associations.
