R. S. Convent Sainik School the prestigious institution affiliated to C.B.S.E. was a dream realesation of 'Ranju Singh Educational Society' led by Sri Sudama Singh, a retired army person. The serene and green atmosphere of Ledhupur a nondescript village a few kilometers from the city of Varanasi and adjacent to the international Buddha pilgrimage centre Sarnath, provided the right setting for the strategy of this modern day 'Gurukul'.
