People around the world take time in the morning to listen to the bird chorus wherever they are, record it and upload it to a global database. This data is made available to art and science, which can gain insights into preserving biodiversity.

With the Dawn Chorus app, users can easily and quickly make their recordings. They can also learn more about bird songs and unleash their creativity - for example with the media art feature "Sonic Feather", which transforms their own sound recording into art.
The app's data is only used anonymously and only for scientific and artistic purposes. The app also works offline, the data is then saved locally on the smartphone and can be uploaded later.
