The ROYAL PREMIER GOLF LEAGUE was started in 2016, as an Intra Club Golf tournament, open to all members of RCGC holding amateur status. The First golf league in India of its kind.

Royal Premier Golf League (RPGL) is arguably the world’s largest amateur golf league. The RPGL is a pioneer in amateur golf premier leagues in the county. Since it’s inception in 2016, it has grown its influence over the Kolkata golf culture every year. More than 5000 unique HNIs and their families from Kolkata come to support their favorite team. The league-cum-knockout format makes it a high stakes event.
