GEMA stands Bible Reading Movement, a movement to help the church to be able to read the entire Bible in every period of three years. GEMA published for the first time in 1999 by the Church of Jesus Christ, Jakarta, Indonesia.

As the name implies, GEMA emphasize that the Bible should be read by everyone, especially Christians. GEMA just guidelines, in reading the Bible so that Bible readers can regularly read the Bible and understand the Bible. The Bible is the word of God that must be read and ponder so that we can know God and his heart's content and get to know Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord, so that we have eternal life and can live according to God's plan.
