The leadership and communication training was designed for the Swiss Army. Big plus: individual training modules are certified and are therefore also civilly recognized. The training can then be completed in the civilian sector. The certificates are issued by the Swiss Association for Management Training (SVF), which was founded in 1999. It includes over 100 private schools and business schools and, as a founding member, the army.

The leadership training has a modular structure. Six modules of the SVF Leadership 1 course are certified - self-knowledge, personal working techniques, communication and information, conflict management, leadership of the group and leadership of the subordinate managers. These modules are aimed at squad leaders, senior non-commissioned officers, platoon leaders and quartermasters.
