Padmapuran is one of the eighteen Mahapuranas in Hindu mythology. This is an encyclopedic composition. This Purana is named after the Padma in which Brahma appeared. The greatness of Vishnu and Shiva and Shakti are described in a large part of this Purana and in some important parts.
