Aarti, also pronounced as Arti, Aarthi, Aartiyan, Bhajan and Prayers are refers to the traditional Hindu Devotional Songs. Aarti is a way to remember the almighty God and thank him for everything he has provided to us.

As Hindu traditions, arti is performed and sung to develop the highest love for God. In Sanskrit "Aa" means "towards", and "rati" means "the highest love for God”. The ritual of aarti is performed in morning, evening, during festival days, various pooja, Hawan, Yagna etc and performed with a light from wick soaked in ghee or camphor is offered along with singing aartis.
