XYZ Radio. The community voice. It aims to become an alternative means of communication that collects the different expressions of the actors and popular sectors of Ecuador.
The link to new technologies is a demand that the popular sectors have not been able to access at the moment. This communication project aspires to contribute to this issue, keeping an open door to the communities of the rural and urban sectors, lacking the technical infrastructure; since historically they have been in the hands of the great economic groups, and that they have contributed to deepen and preserve the exclusion and social marginalization.
We invite the different civil society organizations to make use of this initiative, where sectors of the Quito neighborhood leadership, students from the Central University, and some cultural groups from the South of Quito have converged
