About App
AirIoT is the outcome of an ongoing research project titled IoT enabled smart cities: Pollution, Health and Governance at IIIT Hyderabad. There is an absence of an IoT integrated geospatial platform for monitoring air pollution data. AirIoT is an internet of things (IoT) network for monitoring air pollution in urban conditions in Indian cities. It aims to generate analytical data models for extrapolating the measurements at the micro-level and macro levels.
It is a web-based open-access platform to show high-resolution high-accuracy spatial maps with different pollution types, which will serve as advisory to citizens, particularly children and public service personnel. Currently, the network is deployed at the Gachobowli area of the Indian metropolitan city Hyderabad. Users can access the live data from all the deployed nodes AirIoT app.
